Shimano Metanium

The Metanium MGL sets a new benchmark for baitcasters within the Australian market. This premier model boasts a Magnesium CoreSolid Body, engineered to deliver unparalleled durability, rigidity, and sensitivity. Elevating performance further, the addition of the Magnumlite Spool III reduces spool inertia by 17%. Enhancing castability and control, the New SVS system offers a broader range of brake adjustments through its external dial.

Crafted from solid brass, the Micro Module main gear ensures robustness, while Silent Tune technology minimises spool bearing vibration for seamless reeling. Extensively tested by Shimano field testers for over 12 months in Australia's challenging saltwater conditions, the Metanium MGL stands as a testament to its exceptional quality and performance.
